Once more, in 2015 the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Talks invited the public to take an in-depth look at different varieties of design. For instance, the talks by the famous French architects Dominique Perrault and the German curator Oliver Elser placed a key focus on architecture. Furthermore, the three panel discussions of the austria wirtschaftsservice dealt with topical aspects such as the identity-shaping role of design locations, the innovative potential of handicraft, and the up-and-coming sector of games. The expert round addressing social design, also many other discourse events offered opportunities of exchange, discussion and reflection.
