VIENNA DESIGN WEEK/Kollektiv Fischka/Marcell Nimführ

In its activities throughout the year, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK festival team under the name of the VIENNA DESIGN OFFICE acted in a great variety of functions: as communicator and ambassador, as event organizer and sponsor, as educationalist and consultant. The Special format had put the spotlight on a cross-section of these activities: the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Embassy presented Austrian design abroad. The window gallery in stilwerk offered a permanent presentation platform for young design – during the festival this for example had been a project by Ebru Kurbak. The feature VIENNA DESIGN COOK and the project for Interio accentuated furthermore how the VIENNA DESIGN OFFICE gives scope to the latest trends and acts as a link between design and industry.
