Education 2012

Communicating design is a key issue for us since the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is not only a meeting point for the international design scene, but also a people’s festival with the aim of offering as much as possible and to as many different visitors as possible. This is why we have thought up even more ways this year of making the festival accessible in accordance with this aspiration. Our four guided tours, organised several times during the festival, offer a great variety of approaches – geographical as well as thematic. They were planned jointly with the city guide Gabriela Steiner-Scharfetter and will be led by her once again in the most entertaining way and if necessary in several languages!
For children and young people, we are again organizing two interactive workshops in cooperation with the experts from design°mobil and, upon request, we offer guided tours for school classes of all levels.
