Volvo

1927 was the year the automobile manufacturer Volvo produced its first model in Goteborg. The philosophy of the long-established and richly traditional Swedish company aims at placing the human being in the center of things and simultaneously acting as pioneer and initiator for safe mobility. The P1800 – aka Snow White’s Coffin – the rally car B18 and the Volvo XC90 – which won the Red Dot Design Award – symbolize the leaps forward in innovation made by the car manufacturer Volvo – both in engine construction and in design. Today the brand is associated with such attributes as “functionality”, “living design” and “luxury you can feel”.
