Vibrant Fields
The research project Vibrant Fields employs artistic means to investigate climate change: The objective of Vibrant Fields – which is based at the Institute of Energy Design of the University of Applied Arts and is supported by the PEEK Program of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) – is to paint a holistic picture of the climate catastrophe and its impact upon urban nature. A key aspect of this work is the research into and visualization of the (symbiotic) interaction between a range of biological and technological components and actors. The project team of Vibrant Fields is made up by Bernhard Sommer, Zeynep Aksöz Balzar, Galo Moncayo Asan, and Mark Balzar.
