The Verlag für moderne Kunst (VFMK) is a major player on the international market for art books. Besides publishing carefully conceived art books (Books) it has also had its own range of products (Goods) since autumn 2020: The publishing house works with contemporary artists and designers on the production of artistic objects in limited editions, which it sells, together with a hand-picked range of other items, in its own boutique at Wiedner Hauptstraße 40 in Vienna. The Verlag für moderne Kunst was founded in Nuremberg in 1974 and has been based in Vienna since 2014.
