sound:frame

sound:frame works for the advancement of audiovisual art, realizes interdisciplinary projects, and regards itself as a hub for artists, institutions, and project partners. The agency first made a name for itself through the festival of the same name, which was held annually from 2007 to 2016 and helped firmly establish Vienna’s status as the center of audiovisual art. Since 2017, sound:frame has continued to build and strengthen its network through sound:frame PROJECTS. Throughout the year, venues and stages are created and employed for audiovisual and interdisciplinary projects, in co-productions with selected partners.
