Sheen – in the language of the Pashtuns this simply means “green”, but in English stands for the silken shimmer of exquisite textiles. For Rita Garstenauer and Shahnawaz Khan it is a program: ecological and social sustainability in process and top quality in material and design. The Sheen Organic Textiles range includes white and unicolor cotton fabrics, also the first pattern collection in collaboration with the artist duo duller/stippl. The materials are ideal both for clothing and for interior decoration. Their designs invite people to enter into an imagined natural environment, surrounding themselves with memories of special moments in a forest and immersing themselves in it.
