The RKI Vienna was founded in 2004 as the first Romanian cultural institute abroad. In its headquarters in the 4th Viennese district the Austrian and international public is given the opportunity of coming into contact with Romanian culture. The Romanian Cultural Institute Vienna's spacious facilities provide an ideal background for its rich program of events: concerts, exhibitions, theater performances, readings, film shows, lectures, and language courses. The Romanian Cultural Institute Vienna is a regular VIENNA DESIGN WEEK participant.
