Romanian Design Week

The Romanian Design Week is the biggest multidisciplinary event in Romania – a ten-day festival that promotes design as a launching pad for cultural, social and economical growth. By promoting interesting ideas, energy and dynamism, vibrant exhibitions and extraordinary collaborations, the Romanian Design Week shows that Romanian design is so much more than what you see at first glance. Events and showcases focus on product and industrial design, furniture, graphics, fashion, architecture, and interior design. Besides the curated formats of the main exhibition, the range of themes is also extended and transmitted by the festival’s partners, which host and organize connected events. The event is initiated and organized by the Institute – an ecosystem for creative industries in Romania and South Eastern Europe, whose mission is to bring together, showcase, and inspire creative potential in emerging countries.
