Designed by internationally renowned architects including Wilhelm Holzbauer and Georg Lippert, the Ringstrassen-Galerien unite contemporary aesthetics with classical, sophisticated Viennese flair. Ever since 1993, the shopping centre with its unique combination of modern shopping culture and the world-famous Austrian charm has impressed its special character on the inner city. Always looking ahead, the Ringstrasse-Galerien constantly invest in the future. Among the 2014 features the Ringstrasse-Galerien Designer Award was presented for the eleventh time as a promotional prize for new-generation fashion design. The concept exhibition “A day in the life” running from 1 to 4 October in cooperation with designaustria in the Ringstrassen-Galerien shows the Vienna shopping centre taking a further step in this direction.
