POLKA

POLKA deals with everyday phenomena and patterns of use. The designers Marie Rahm and Monica Singer enjoy working in the contrasting areas of experimenting with concepts and creating elegant, functional objects of daily use (which nevertheless often provide hidden surprises). Their design studio, founded in 2004, successfully develops projects in the areas of product, furniture, and interior design for such clients as Wittmann, Lobmeyr, Laufen, ‘authentics’, and Herend.
