OekoBusiness Wien

OekoBusiness Wien is Vienna City Council’s environmental service package for Viennese companies. Established in 1998 by the city’s Environmental Protection Department, OekoBusiness Wien supports businesses in the implementation of environmentally relevant measures and, as a result, helps to lower their operating costs. Experienced environmental consultants enable companies to identify potential savings with the aim of gradually reducing the demand for energy, the volume of waste, and the use of resources. In this way, OekoBusiness Wien is also making a key contribution to the meeting of Vienna’s climate targets. The program is co-financed by Vienna City Council, the Vienna Economic Chamber, and the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology. OekoBusiness Wien has also had its own podcast since March 2021. All episodes of “Dreiviertel Zwölf” can be heard on popular podcast platforms.
