Michal Strach

In 2015, Michal Strach graduated from the UMPRUM in Prague with his diploma project of the Inner Space scenery. The Inner Space is an expression of his surreal world and also a definition of his artistic way of creation. It is a conceptually built installation of objects, applied products, and daily commodities seeking for new aesthetics of modeling. Generally, Strach’s artwork is focused on objects at the interface of art and design – both artifacts and toys, applying partially spontaneous and rational approaches: “My goal is to design readily understandable but poetic objects that may become products without having to change – without losing their artistic nature.”
