Matthias Lehner

Matthias Lehner studied industrial design in Munich. In 2011, he set up his own studio in the city and since then has devoted his attention to furniture, table culture, and interior design. In 2016, as creative director he joined forces with a Portuguese manufacturing company to found the furniture brand O CÉU. It represents an encounter in new interpretation between the cultural heritage of Portugal, with its traditional production techniques, and Northern design. Lehner aspires towards combining quality and aesthetics with a whiff of irony and a sense of humor – and to infuse a personal note into every product.
