For the past seventeen years, Hedwig Rotter has run her porcelain studio in Ottakring. Under the label mano design, she sets a clear signal for the combination of craftsmanship, art, and design. She designs and produces porcelain products for interiors (home accessories, vases, and lamps) and table settings. For a few years now, Rotter has also specialized in bone china – one of the highest quality, finest types of porcelain. As a result of her work with the long tradition of this material, she reinterprets products and realizes them in a modern, functional formal language.
