Lucas Verweij
Architecture
Lucas Verweij works as an architect, author, lecturer and moderator in a great variety of creative disciplines. In 2008 he moved from Rotterdam to Berlin and now teaches inter alia at the University of Art in Weissensee and the Berlin University of the Arts (Hochschule der Künste. A graduate of the Eindhoven Design Academy, Verweij first of all set up an architecture bureau in the nineteen-nineties, worked as manager of the Dutch design platform Premsela and then moved on as principal to the Academy for Architecture and Urban Design. Lucas Verweij has published numerous articles in architectural and design magazines and blogs at lucas-berlin.blogspot.com. At the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK he is moderator in the Talk on the topic of Vienna-Berlin.
