Johanna Dehio

Johanna Dehio lives and works in Berlin. Her work covers furniture, product design, and scenography, also spatial-social interventions and intercultural design projects, including exhibitions and workshops. Impetus and inspiration for Johanna Dehio’s works are drawn from a study of of different aspects of improvisation, which results in a language of forms combining different materials and surfaces with clear design. She creates objects characterized on a functional level by open and accessible structures that provoke interaction. Furthermore, she investigates relationships between users and objects which involve responsibility for the things themselves.
