Institute of Design Research Vienna

The Institute of Design Research Vienna (IDRV) is led by Harald Gruendl and was founded in the spring of 2008 with the aim of enriching the international field of design study with independent academic contributions and interdisciplinary discourse. In 2010, the IDRV will deal with the question of how to teach design history in a forward-looking manner at university; other current core topics are service and sustainable design.
