Institute for Transmedia Design – ITD

ITD – the Slovenian Institute for Transmedia Design – focuses on story- and technology-driven innovation. As a pioneer in the area of transmedia design methodology and practice (research, development, and production), the Institute has been actively involved in the development of international projects with partners including the British Council, Edinburgh Napier University, the Art Academy of the University of Split, and the Creative Europe MEDIA Desk Slovenia. Previous works by ITD have been shown at industry events such as Cross Video Days, the Biennial of Design in Ljubljana, Cartoon Forum, IDFA Forum, the MIT Open Documentary Lab, and the Berlinale. In addition to participating in international projects, ITD promotes international debate, cultural exchange, and educational programs in the field of transmedia design.
