Institut français d’Autriche

The objective of the Institut français founded in 1926 in Vienna is
to maintain the cultural, linguistic and academic relations between France and Austria and to help in making France better known abroad. One of its main tasks is to teach French as a foreign language and to promote scientific-academic cooperation and international cultural exchange. The Institut français d’Autriche supports the mobility of artists and promotes cultural industries, especially cinema, design and book publishing.
