House of Auster

House of Auster is an innovative shopping concept for fans of fashion and interior and vintage design. The 190-square-meter apartment in a traditional residential building in Vienna’s 7th District is laid out like a classical apartment with living, dining, and dressing rooms. The chief attraction: This is a place, where clients can buy and immediately take (almost) everything home – from the constantly newly curated living room décor and the one-of-a-kind vintage items of furniture to the fascinating interior design, unique vintage fashion, and art. It focuses on objects produced in Europe. The objective of Andreea Cebuc and Carola Pojer in founding House of Auster is to challenge the classical shopping experience and encourage sustainable consumer behavior. They place great value on the principle of “Buy less but better!” – which means: fewer items, natural materials, personal advice, and high quality. The range consists of individual pieces and limited collections of the work of local artists. Products that can’t be found anywhere else in Austria.
