HELLER & DIMMER

Ever since humans learned to tame fire and the flame became a portable phenomenon, we have worked with varying degrees of attention and refinement to create an appropriate framework for sources of light. For Matthias Hempt, the founder of HELLER & DIMMER, this basic principle has not changed – apart from the fact that the new flame is now called the LES (Light Emitting Surface) and is integrated into a small LED plate.

On the basis of a scalable optical system, HELLER & DIMMER designs, develops, and manufactures small series and individual lighting solutions with and for inspiring individuals from the fields of art, architecture, and lighting design.
