Florian Holzer

After graduating in geology end of the 1980s, Florian joined Prof. Carl Auböck’s master-class for product design at the Vienna Art School. 1994 he completed examination with Prof. Ron Arad. In the following 10 years Florian was focusing on design for exhibitions and trade fairs; from 2001 he added product design especially for medical devices and sport equipment together with his temporary partner Rene Chavanne. Since 2005 Florian committed his creative focus mostly on traditional manufacturing and craft, guiding such techniques into a contemporary context and, hence, moving them to presence.
