FANTOPLAST Circular Design

FANTOPLAST was founded in summer 2022 by Raphael Volkmer, Alessia Scuderi, Julian Jankovic, Florian Schäfer, and Max Scheidl. Since 2023, FANTOPLAST has worked in Vienna’s Seestadt, producing sustainable and aesthetically and technically high-quality 2m × 1m panels from fully regionally sourced plastic waste with the help of green electricity. The five founders form an interdisciplinary team from the fields of design, plastic technology, communication, marketing, and finance. FANTOPLAST aspires to give recycling a new image, to realize useful projects, and to work actively together to fight the problem of plastic and all its many challenges.
