Dominique Perrault

A leading figure in French architecture, Dominique Perrault gained international recognition after winning the competition for the French National Library in 1989 at the age of 36. This project marked the starting point of many other public and private commissions abroad, such as The Velodrome and Olympic swimming pool in Berlin, the extension of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, the Olympic tennis centre in Madrid, the campus of the EWHA University in Seoul, and the Fukoku Tower in Osaka, Japan. In 2014, Perrault completed the Grand Theatre in Albi, France, as well as the DC Tower in Vienna, the tallest tower in Austria and icon of the new business district.

Ongoing projects include the renovations of the Pavillon Dufour at the Chateau de Versailles, of the Longchamp Racecourse and of the Poste du Louvre both in Paris.
