Dasha Zaichanka

When first moving house eleven years ago, Dasha Zaichanka opted for a life of adventure: On her journeys, the designer and illustrator sets out to on a quest for inspiration in every corner of a room and across the whole world. In doing so, she casts her sights beyond her own horizon and finds limitless arenas in which to stage her own creativity. Zaichanka’s work deals with the themes of passion, emotion, humanity, communication, and beauty. Already prior to her graduation from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, she began to work for buero bauer. Meanwhile, she acts as an idea machine perpetually producing her own free projects, their experimentation giving her the opportunity of developing her vision further.
