Café Landtmann

Franz Landtmann opened Vienna’s largest and most elegant coffee locality in 1873. Constantly and tactfully subject to alteration and further development, the Landtmann today is a quintessential part of Vienna, greeting its clientele on the one hand with grand, heritage-listed coffee house rooms, and on the other with a contemporary architectural annex, spacious “Schanigärten” – front-of-house gardens – and a bel étage as an event location. Most of all, it keeps alive the culture of the Viennese café with its coffee and pastry delicacies. Design, creativity and hospitality in great and small have always been a part of the history of Café Landtmann on the Ring, now counting 140 years, and are paving the way for a successful future.
