Bildrecht

"Bildrecht" is Austria's state-authorized collecting society for image authors. It currently represents around 7,300 creators of visual works from design, graphics & illustration, architecture, fine arts, photography and choreography. At the same time, it raises public awareness of culturally relevant topics and promotes current affairs art and design creation.

With the free Bildrecht membership, designers secure payments from so-called flat-rate payments. These are funds that are collected as a lump sum for legally permitted uses and distributed to authors.
