Anastasia Eggers / Philipp Kolmann
Anastasia Eggers is active in the areas of speculative and critical design and in design research. In her work, she investigates the political and sociocultural aspects of food. After studying design in Germany and Russia she completed a master’s degree in social design at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
Philipp Kolmann also graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven with a bachelor’s degree from the Food non Food Department. His objective as a designer is to expand our understanding of the senses of smell and taste in such a way that they can be used as a medium that is visible within a culture and a locality.
Their first collaborative project “Cosmopolitan Cheese” came about in connection with the platform MADE IN: Crafts — Design Narratives and was exhibited in the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb, MAO – Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana and the Werkraum Bregenzerwald.
