ak7 – Contemporary Design by Contemporary Artists

The ‘ak7’ label is active at the interface between art and design: furniture created by high-profile designers and produced by Tyrolean craft enterprises according to classical craftsmanship techniques is sold in limited editions of seven pieces each. A show on the subject, The Art of Design, a joint venture between ‘quartier21’ in the MuseumsQuartier and the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, will take place in ‘freiraum quartier21 INTERNATIONAL’ and opens on 1 October 2010 as part of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.
