Adam Mickiewicz Institut

The goal of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, a state-funded cultural institution, is to promote Poland and Polish culture worldwide. Under the Culture.pl brand, the Institute presents high quality initiatives and events in the field of music, art, and theatre. One of its priorities is the international promotion of Polish design which reflects the best of contemporary Polish culture and creativity. Featuring over 40,000 articles in Polish, English, and Russian, the Culture.pl website features the best of Polish literature, visual arts, music, film, and more, with over six million visitors a year across 80 countries. A special tab on design presents the latest trends in contemporary Polish design and the latest projects of Polish designers. From 2017 to 2021, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute will organize POLSKA 100 – a rich international cultural program of events accompanying the centenary of Poland regaining independence.
