Window Gallery: Patrick Rampelotto

A discovery in the archives of J. & L. Lobmeyr is the starting point of the work of the Italian designer Patrick Rampelotto that will be on view from 24 April in the Window Gallery.

For his light object Rampelotto rearranged glass elements of a ceiling lamp from the 1940s. The precise wedge cut, that was popular and appreciated in the art deco of the likes of Oswald Haerdtl, illuminates this interpretation in a very special way.
