Daily meeting point for all festival visitors and designers

In the large ballroom of the former Grand Etablissement Gschwandner, this year's festival headquarter, Morisson Catering operates the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Pop-up Café. In order to offer all visitors to the festival headquarter an authentic Viennese coffee house atmosphere, the cafè is set up by Thonet, precisely with the chairs "107" designed by Robert Stadler and tables by James Irvine from the Muji manufactuerd by Thonet collection. At an impressive 490 square metres, the temporary café offers 60 seats, a lounge area and a stage for live acts.

Food and drinks will be provided by Morisson Catering: In addition to standard classics of the Viennese Coffee House Culture, such as cakes and pies, sausages, a small selection of hot and cold dishes, alternating organic lunch menus during the week (Monday through Friday, 11am to 4pm) and brunch on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 10 am).
