A great way to start!

The design world has party spirit - as we've known for years. Obviously seen in this year's location, the Gschwandner in the 17th district Hernals, to be found in the passion of Lena Goldsteiner´s wrestlers as well as in the beautiful visuals of OchoReSotto or simply lying in the fact that the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is starting now!

However varied the range of the lively design scene by people of all generations and focuses - architecture and art was equally well represented. Among the 500 guests were Eberhard Schrempf (Creative Industries Styria), the artist Nives Widauer, Markus Schinwald, Erwin Wurm, director Gabriele Zuna-Kratky (Technical Museum Vienna), director Christoph Thun-Hohenstein (MAK), Rector Eva Bliminger and Vice Chancellor Andrea Braidt of the Academy of Fine Arts, architect Hermann Czech and designer Gregor Eichinger.
