Rado gets things moving! The Swiss watch brand is presenting a special highlight in the Festival Headquarters in the Prater and the Rado Boutique at Kärntner Straße 18: the “Rado True Square Thinline × VIENNA DESIGN WEEK”. An ultrathin, quadratic, high-tech ceramic watch, which has been exclusively created for the festival. The close connection between Rado and the world of design is also illustrated by its organization of the competition RADO MOVING MATERIALS. From March to August, six designers from the field of motion design were given the opportunity to convince visitors with installations that were specially produced for the video wall in the Rado Boutique in Vienna. All six episodes are being shown again in the Festival Headquarters – and the name of the winner of the RADO MOVING MATERIALS Prize will be announced on 26.9. in the Rado Boutique. The designer of the best animation receives a cash prize and one of the limited edition of 20 “Rado True Square Thinline × VIENNA DESIGN WEEK” watches.
