JUNGE TÖPFE is a cooking performance by first-semester students from the Institute of Industrial Design of FH JOANNEUM in Graz. They cook in pots that were made on the Basics of Design course, which is led by Anna Paul and Florian Puschmann, and cast from iron with the support of Hubert Kerber (Austrian Foundry Research Institute) and in cooperation with the company Metallguss Katz in Lieboch. During the presentation in the format Debut, the pots are first fired and then used for the first time as part of a collective performance on 30.9. in the garden of the Festival Headquarters.

“When we read about junge Töpfe, we also hear the soundtrack by Falco – and junge Töpfe really do dance differently. If only due to their dimensions, which summon illusions and sensations …,” says Anna Paul.
