co/rizom enables traditional artisans to market their products worldwide as a means of sustainably securing their livelihoods. In order to achieve this, co/rizom brings these artisans together with designers and business developers and supports them with financial resources, a digital product development tool, global marketing, sales expertise, and access to distribution networks. The latest collections created in this way can be seen in the Festival Headquarters in the Prater: woven mats, woolen carpets and tapestries from Nigerian akwete cloth, brutalist copper vases, reinterpretations of the bar stool, furniture made using the Portuguese buñho technique, and a series that addresses the instability of brass, as well as knotted pieces and unfinished cast aluminum containers.
