Anton Defant believes that design must be autonomous, responsible, and honest. And now the designer has interpreted and realized a Viennese classic for Vöslauer with the help of new, old materials. The result is a highly limited series based on a cantilever chair found on willhaben, which has been given a new appearance and haptic with the help of untypical materials. The non-slip steel plate applied to the recycled chairs is regarded as rough and brutal and creates a new stylistic classification: old and familiar becomes new and surprising. It is said that all good things come round again. This not only reflects the approach of Vöslauer and Anton Defant, but can also be seen in the Festival Headquarters in the Prater during the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.
