Can social design strategies trigger transformation processes for a socially and environmentally friendly, circular economy and society? What contribution can transdisciplinary innovation networks and the synthesis of art, research, design, and everyday life make to such change? With Atelier LUMA, an experimental design lab, Artistic Director Jan Boelen develops solutions to questions like these. In his keynote talk, he addresses the potential of design as a cooperative bioregional tool. The talk will be followed by a panel discussion with Gabriel Roland (VIENNA DESIGN WEEK), Elisabeth Noever-Ginthör (Vienna Business Agency), Harald Gründl (EOOS Next), and Brigitte Felderer(University of Applied Arts).

In addition to this, the installation JUST ADD WATER from LAUFEN and NM3 can be seen in the Festival Headquarters in the GEWÖLBE.
