This year, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is not only a place for discovering, experiencing, and getting to know, but also for shopping: For all those who would like to take a piece of the festival home or present it to someone else, GASSENVERKAUF is offering a small selection of objects that have something or other to do with the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.

An important part of GASSENVERKAUF is Lera Guevskaya and Maria Ruban’s selection of products by Ukrainian designers, whose work has become far more difficult in the past few months due to the war and their need to flee. All proceeds from the sales of these products will go to the designers. Each designer behind the brand has it's own story of living in a new reality of war which is included a catalog.

The shop was designed by Lera Guevskaja using elements of the exhibition architecture designed by Studio Makkink & Bey in 2012 for "Werkstadt Vienna". The Ukrainian pop-up shop was made possible by financial support from the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture, Civil Service and Sport.
