Can we also manage without Google Maps? NAVIGATIONAL SUPERPOWERS is a series of design experiments that questions the use of digital maps and proprietary technologies, which have become a norm for navigation. These experiments research the wishes that accompany us as we move through space, attempt to learn from urban wild animals – the true masters of orientation –, and propose concepts that deviate from the technological and ideological status quo. The objects on show invite visitors to be more like bats, to engage with ultrasound orientation, and to try a new approach to our urban future. The designer is present every day in person from 3pm to 5pm.
