APA-TO is a new design shop in the 6th district, which defines the sales space as a place of inspiration and a feel-good oasis. To mark the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, APA-TO is exhibiting a collection by the designer Nedra Chachoua: The ceramics and textiles were produced in cooperation with small workshops in Tunisia and are enhanced in the quasi showroom of APA-TO by an installation of cakes from the pâtissier Matthias Krenn. There is also a culinary highlight on the second weekend, when the artist Chinook Ulrich Schneider presents his bowls made from clay that resemble pigs’ ears. The “Pig’s Ear” can be acquired, purchasers will also be given a Japanese soba noodle salad. Further program details can be found on the APA-TO website.
