Rudolf Klingohr invites you to a pre-screening in the course of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.

Why do simple ideas trigger revolutions? And on what ground do they have to fall in order to flourish?
Starting from these central questions, the documentary "Ten Screws and an Idea" is dedicated to the most important stages in the success story of bentwood furniture.
The cabinetmaker Michael Thonet is considered their inventor. His name became a brand. Later, however, others also applied the technique with virtuosity - above all the Viennese furniture and interior design manufacturer J. & J. Kohn.
