What would the future of our cities look like if children were in charge? The centerpiece of the exhibition DISCO SCHOOL is a semi-fictional town plan, which was drawn up by – and shows the vision shared by – local decision-makers, creatives, and 98 children from the town of Murska Sobota in Slovenia. To accompany the exhibition, the designers Jimmy Loizeau and Matt Ward are holding a three-day children’s workshop during the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, in which the children will develop ideas for their city with the help of storytelling, drawings, and collages.
