In its exhibition, the New Design University (NDU) St. Pölten illustrates potential ways of rethinking spaces and adapting them to meet a range of different requirements. The projects on display were developed as part of the Future Lab – a special format, which brings students from various courses together with clients. This offers these students the opportunity to work on real projects for external partners – such as companies, government bodies, and organizations –, which will subsequently be implemented by the client. Two examples of such collaboration are being exhibited at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK: a modular exhibition stand for an international yacht show and a spatial design for a new way of working.
