On the initiative of the Institute for Science and Technology Austria (ISTA), the designer and curator Mia Meus is working with the researchers Andrea Stoellner and Yi-Ling Hwong on a project that examines the relationship between people and clouds. The installation on show at the festival addresses the poetic interactions between the meteorological phenomenon and the modern artifacts that we use in order to research it. In the associated English-language talk “Design ???? Science”, selected creatives and researchers discuss mutual influences and the resulting relationships between science, technology, art, culture, and design.
