The co/rizom initiative aims to enable traditional artisans to bring their products to the global market. In nine pairings, social business developers, designers and manufacturers work on standardizing production processes. The pilot projects were often far from easy to implement due to language barriers, poor internet connections, or travel bans. The end result, however, is a wealth of valuable experience – and, of course, the prototypes, which can now be seen in the Festival Headquarters: such as those of the Bosnian coppersmiths Mangala with mischer’traxler studio and Trish Malloch-Brown, the Hungarian basket weavers AMC with Marta Giardini and Gabor Nagy, the Romanian embroiderers Zestrea with Chiara van Praag, and the Albanian carpet weavers Nesa with Nadja Zerunian and Andrei Georgescu.
