The areas of activity of URBA range from the architectural design of hospitality, retail, and office spaces to the creation of individual items of furniture and series of tableware – and its sphere of influence has recently expanded from Hungary to Austria: During this talk organized by Anna Heinrich, the company’s host in Vienna, Martón and Rita Lengyel – the creative minds behind URBA – present their favorite projects of the past few years and explain what has now attracted them to the Austrian capital. In addition to this, a number of handmade items of furniture that were created in close cooperation with the design duo KOMOK, which comprises Norbert Juhaz and Peter Nagy, are also being presented. The “Onyx Chair 2020”, the ceramic and table design series “Eyes on the Table”, and more of the latest interior design work of the Budapest studio will be on display throughout the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.
