AL-TIME TOURS – DESIGN YOURSELF AN EXTRA HOUR!

Valentinitsch Design

28.9.–1.10.2020

What if the day had 25 hours? How would we design this extra hour? With their watch brand AL-Time, the designers Tino Valentinitsch and Michael Bauchowitz showed us everything that is possible. During VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, they invited visitors to the wonderful Valentinitsch Design Studio close to Schönbrunn Palace, where, in addition to the special timepieces, they also presented a wide range of product designs. But back to the subject of time – AL-TIME is a watch for a new time. Its face contains a 13th hour, which invites us to rediscover time. And Valentinitsch Design also provided its own tours, which enabled festival visitors to explore not only time but also the Focus District of Meidling. Because: From listening to traditional Viennese songs in Hermann-Leopoldi-Park, via jogging in the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace, to browsing in the flea market on Meidlinger Markt – the 13th hour offers a wealth of options.
